Adrian Cowell ASF has been trimming and shoeing horses since 1988 and is dedicated to the wellbeing of our friend, the horse.
Adrian is trade qualified and has also attained the Advanced Skills Farrier (ASF) certification under the Farrier International Testing System.
He provides a professional farrier service to the Lower Hunter Valley region of NSW, catering for the needs of all types of shod and barefoot horses.

Horseshoeing as the name suggests is about the whole horse and not just the feet.
Whatever happens to the feet influences how the horse uses the rest of his body, not just when being worked, but all day, every day.
Through care and attention to detail in evaluating your horse, my aim is to maximise your horse’s performance and minimise problems.
I cater for the needs of all types of horses, ponies, mules and donkeys. I am also available to trim other hooved animals such as stud or dairy cattle, sheep, pigs and goats.
As well as shoeing and trimming horses in the local area, Maybe Street Forge can supply handmade Clydesdale show shoes by mail order.
When organising an appointment please make mention of any special needs, or areas of concern with your horse so adequate time can be allowed when scheduling.
A safe, sheltered, level work area where the horse will also be relaxed and safe, ideally close to and in view of other horses, is helpful and enables a high standard of work.
